Yes. This is wonderful. How did you find it?

Obviously deeply influenced by impressionism. Never heard of Griffes, and would not have imagined he was American. Though, around 1:20 it gets quite bluesy for a moment. Before it turns into Satie. Hint of Engulfed Cathedral at 2:20.

Maybe we would know more about Griffes, and be more familiar with his music if he hadn't dies so young. What a loss.

The video, or Griffes?

The video, I simply searched for by the composer's name. Griffes, I have a lot of music by, 'cause I'm very interested in American composers of that era (and earlier). IIRC, I first heard him on a split LP with a piece by Gottschalk, whom I love.
